Panther


Panthers were powered by a Maybach HL 210 P30-V12 Petrol engine the Panther tanks were not underpowered with a powerful engine and a lighter armor the Panther can go speeds up to  55km/h or 34mph, with a fuel capacity of 720 liters the Panther’s operational ranges is 200km on road and 100km on cross country.

Tiger


The Tiger 1 was powered by a Maybach HL230 P45 V-12 700ps the engine that can generate power up to 690hp or 515kw, the Tiger is underpowered and can only go speed up to 45.5km on-road, 40km on the sustained road, and 20-25km on cross country. With a fuel capacity of 540 liters, the Tiger 1’s operational range is 195km on road and 110km on cross country.

The Tiger 1 is better when it comes to armor and firepower, and the Panther is better when it comes to mobility and flanking.


Both Tiger and Panther


The Tiger 1 is better when it comes to armor and firepower, and the Panther is better when it comes to mobility and flanking. Well, both of them earned the reputation as the machines feared by the allies, they combined lethal firepower but not on the armor. The Tiger 1’s turret traverses more quickly than the panther, but the Panther can go faster than the Tiger. During the war, both of them fight together to form a powerful group, but during the war, there were no Panther aces, unlike the Tiger.

What made the Tiger 1 so feared is that it is armed with the powerful 88mm and had an armor thickness up to 100mm thick, while the Panther had only 80mm thick but it was angled up to 55 degrees to deflect shells. The Tiger was the first to be built than the Panther; both of them were designed initially for one thing.

To counter and destroy the soviet T34s and KV1s, when the Tiger and Panther were deployed to the Russian front, the Russians were shocked and immediately ordered to improve the T34 and KV1. The Tiger 1 was improved and that was the result of his brother Tiger II King Tiger, there were plans about building a new Panther called the Panther II but it was too late, the German army was defeated.

But what if the Tiger I and the Panther were massed produced despite their problems and build strength like Stalin did, could the Germans win the war and control the entire world? Absolutely no! Germany was hungry for resources at that time because of the allied bombing, and Hitler would dismiss that idea as well as the other officers. But actually, we don’t know the answer, well who knows when Hitler approves that idea.
